Prepare the Saw

Grip the tile with both of your hands pushing it straight towards the blade. Immediately it makes contact with the blade, slowly push it and let the blade cut the tile. Ensure you cut along the cutting line. In case you are cutting the entire tile, use a push block when you get closer to the end to ensure your hands are kept away from the blade.
In case you are cutting the notches into the tile, pull the tile out each time you finish cutting a notch. Turn off the saw each time you finish making the cut and turn it back once you have a tile in position to cut again.
